Q. Can the cover be repainted?
A. Yes.

Q. What material is the cover made of?
A. Panels - aluminum on the outside - EPS (Expanded Poly Styrene) on the inside.  The hinges and outside channels are black two step anodized extruded aluminum.

Q. Is the cover waterproof?
A. The cover is water resistant - we do not guarantee the cover to be 100% waterproof.

Q. What does the warranty include?
A. One year limited warranty supplied with each cover- on parts.

Q. How strong are the panels?
A. The panels are very strong and rigid, but we do not recommend standing on the cover.

Q. I have a bedliner on my truck - does the bedliner have to be cut off?
A. Only if it is over the rail or if it interferes with the function or installation of the cover.

Q. Do the factory installed side rail bedliners on the 97c Fords and the 99c Super Duty Fords need to be removed?
A. No.

Q. How long does it take to install the Advance Cover?
A. The first cover takes approximately 1.5 hours.  After installing a couple of covers, it will take approximately 1 hour for the experienced installers. Two-panel covers take less time to install.

Q. How is the cover cleaned?
A. With mild soap and Water - Same as used on your truck - Do not wax.
